Our First Homemade Dinner

We flew in from Nairobi last night...after having dropped the team at the airport and spent the night in a really nice hotel...

We had to make our own dinner...We chose spaghetti as an easy first meal.

Mary (who works on the compound--she's not the girl in the picture--that's Megan) had to help us light the stove...It took four of us to make it happen. (Stupid Americans!)

We set the table and Caroline made place-settings for each of us. Oh, and she also made some hot Crystal Light...who would have thought that would be so tasty with spaghetti and corn?!

We were a fun little family...

After dinner, we unpacked a bit and then watched She's All That on the projector in the living room (we had to take down a picture of the Kenyan President, but we set it in a safe place, so he's not offended).
