Sammy's First Day of School

This is Sammy. Sammy is a Kenyan boy who, until yesterday, had been living on the streets...
As of yesterday, he lives in a boarding school in Kitale.

Here he is with all of his supplies...they will give him his new uniform this week.
He was very excited, but trying to play it cool.

After dropping Sammy, we went to check on the kids at Milimani Primary...evidently, if the kids run over to say hello to us, they are teased in class for being "white people's kids" so they hide while we are on campus...the only two we saw today were Dorcas and Ajix...

So we did a little photo shoot.

These girls are beautiful...

Cute Ajix...I don't know many people who are this beautiful from this close...

We will take one more boy to school today...Edwin...which should be very fun...more on that soon.
