Daina posted about it Monday night, asking if anyone wanted to help replace some of the stuff...she's had a few friends reply already...so we did some shopping today...and the boys had no idea...(poor Geoffrey mentioned, at least five times, that it was such a bad decision to come shopping with two girls).
We went to house 2 in hopes of delivering it to the boys...but they weren't home yet...so, even better, we laid out the new mattress, dressed the beds and folded the shirts...we'll do a little more specific shopping tomorrow (since jeans and shoes need to be specific sizes). It would have been fun to see the faces of each boy when they saw his new bed or clothing, but I love the imagined version too.
Here are a few photos of the new beds and replaced items...keep in mind: each room is inhabited by 3 or 4 teenage boys, so they are a little messy...

If you are interested in helping at all, let me know...

First off, I love the title...and the words of that song are the antithesis of what's happened to these boys.
I so wish there was a way to send you things. I have made a donation to Oasis...wish it was more...but what more can I do to help? I'm willing!!
I love you. I know this was a HUGE thing for them...they must have slept better than ever on those new mattresses and clean sheets.
Let me know how I can help...I'm totally in!
