Kenya Loves Transportation

And clearly has little to no regard for lack of personal space...

Here are the first of many blogs about our trip from this last week...
These are photos from our bus ride up to Lodwar and Kakuma...only 9 hours...no big deal, right?

Here's how closely we were packed in...
Daina and I are not leaning in for this picture. Here's the pastor of the bus practically sitting on D's shoulder...
Oh, and here's smiley Ben...loving life...his music...and his fanny pack.I know this is beginning with complaint, but I promise the trip (aside from the bus rides) was amazing...

Welcome back!! I couldn't wait to see a new post from you.
I can imagine the ride (and I bet the smell was amazing!) and love that you smiled and took pictures through the whole thing.
Can't wait to read more about it.
Welcome, eh...home.

Welcome home! It's like Steve always says.....

Nairobi seems like the end of the earth...until you get to Kitale..and nothing makes Kitale feel so much like a big, modern city as going to Turkanaland!

So...welcome back to the "modern" world!
