Show Me, Show Me, Show Me

The Show is in town. And by "The Show" I mean the A.S.K (Agricultural Society of Kenya) North Rift Valley Show.

It is HUGE here...everyone has been talking about it for months...more hype than the OC Fair...times a million.

We spent Friday at the fair with the Oasis kids. 105 of them, to be exact: a combination of the centre kids (minus a few), house kids and boarding school kids. Everyone was in a uniform of some kind: including scouting uniform...

Here are a few photos from the day:

Lots of cattle, crops and acrobats:

Oh, just a pig's head:
This camel, evidently, fell in this hole and then pooped itself...they'd tried, unsuccessfully to get it out. So, I guess it's just waiting to die...
One of the students had my camera...how beautiful is this shot?

It was a hot, crowded morning...but I am so glad that I was able to experience it.
