Oasis Camp, Part One

On Monday, we helped pull-off a huge Oasis Day Camp. Katie brought a ton of supplies from America and had planned it out in her head...we just helped put it in action.

This has become a Kitale tradition for these Oasis kids (thanks to Katie)...and it has also become a lifelong memory for both the kids and the leaders. I was talking to Moses and he said, "Camp? Tomorrow? Allison, that is like unbelievable! We thought that since it didn't happen in January this year, we would miss it. And now it's happening in November!"

Here are a few of the 400 photos from the day. I'll post more as my internet allows.

Here's Geoffrey potato sack racing...he enjoyed it more than most of the kids. See, Timo is cheating to try to catch up to him!

CAMP!!!! Yay! Please thank Katie for me. How did she get enough supplies there? I love how she always makes things work, no matter what the circumstances. The kids (and you guys) look like you had an awesome day!

The only bummer is that is the first time that I have had to miss Oasis Camp.....boo!

Give my love to all.....
