WHAT WILL WE DO THERE (PART 2): Kitale Prison

The prison is split in two: a men's and a women's.
Children under three are allowed, by law, to live in the prison with their mothers.
We will spend time in the prison, loving on the people.

The Kitale Prison is the site of one of the best moments of my life.

Puts a whole new perspective on taking on the sins of our parents. How strange to live your first few years in a prison. In America we put such a huge deal out a child's first five years- the foundational/formative years. I can't imagine what only knowing the inside of a prison would be like, I wonder what kind of difference it would make. Is it safer for them than "outside", is it harder, do they get less or more...?...?
